How does the product work?
Serasto contains the active substances flumethrin and imidacloprid. Flumethrin is considered one of the most effective active substances against ticks and the two substances work together in a synergy that yields a very high effectiveness against fleas.
Even before Sarasto kills the parasites, the collar repels the ticks thanks to the "Hot Feet Effect" - a feeling that the ticks "burn in the legs" and are unable to stick to the dog. Ticks that nevertheless managed to get on a dog with a Sarasto collar, drop off dead in a short time.
The collar continuously releases small amounts of the active ingredients. They spread all over the dog's body, externally only, and do not penetrate the blood. They also reach the most distant areas on the dog's body and provide complete protection for a period of up to 8 months.2
how to use
Using Sarasto is simple and easy:
- Choose the size of the collar according to the weight of the dog.
- Put the collar on the dog's neck, close it and tighten until there is a space of 2 fingers between the neck and the collar (so that the collar is not too tight or too loose).
- Leave an edge of 2 cm from the collar and cut off the rest.
Before use, read the consumer leaflet in the product packaging and follow the instructions.
If the dog is already infected with fleas and ticks, a combined treatment should be done together with ampoules to stop the reproduction and give a comprehensive treatment that will completely solve the problem.
